Leigh Oliver co-founded the private equity firm Arcadia Capital to focus on acquiring established businesses in Australia and New Zealand.Leigh is an experienced private equity investor having spent over 20 years in roles spanning private equity, investment banking and chartered accounting firms. During this time he has worked with management teams to optimise the performance of companies, and provide advice on strategy, operations, capital raising and deal structuring. For more than a decade Leigh worked at some of the leading private equity firms globally. Leigh was previously a senior member of the private equity team at KKR where he spent 5 years focused on buyout opportunities in Australia and New Zealand. Before joining KKR he spent 6 years in the private equity team at The Carlyle Group. Prior to Carlyle, Leigh worked in the Investment Banking division of J.P.Morgan in Sydney and prior to that he was at Ernst & Young in Brisbane. Leigh is a CFA Charterholder, a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Queensland.
