After a long career associated with Quality (Non-Destructive Testing and Asset Inspection) spanning across twenty years it was time to put the knowledge gained within the Defence, Oil & Gas, Mining, Mineral Refining, Marine, Aerospace, and Automotive industry sectors into a dedicated project position. Having previously participated in more than one-hundred projects as a sub-contractor or in a supplier position it is great to now experience what it means to be within the primary organisation, that being Luerssen Australia who have been tasked to deliver the six SEA1180 Arafura Class Offshore Patrol Vessels to the Royal Australian Navy.My peers know me as someone who is a great communicator which cultivates positivity and who advocates sound team work-ethic and professionalism. I am a highly capable individual who can exceed when working alone, however, I am truly at my best when collaborating with others to achieve team goals and strategic business objectives.I now find myself with a Master of Business Administration and Graduate Certificate in Project Management, with the aim of achieving master’s level for the latter in mid-2024. The current goal in focus is to leverage my newfound learnings in tandem with my experience garnered from a variety of lead technician, coordination, and supervision roles to assist my team in the Project Management Office whilst progressing my career within defence onwards.
