Analysis to define, facilitate and influence deliverables in the Markets and International Banking function covering the EMEA region. Specifically looking at Cash and Payments initiatives, including right shoring of processes aligned to the TOM, an end to end review of payments hub activity and performance within Poland and India and an improved billing system across 20 European countries. I was also responsible for analysing and making recommendations for improving the cash threshold for a callback to the client which resulted in a 3FTE benefit, which due to the quality of the analysis, was being considered for adoption on a global scale.

An EDRM project to facilitate the relocation of 13 satellite offices into a single new build location. Analysis of council processes to enable scanning and digital enhancements, identify benefits, create business cases and recommend IT enhancements, includes stakeholders management, issue resolution, requirements gathering, analytics and implementation/benefits realisation whilst understanding new systems such as OnBase and programming new Kodak scanning software.

Utilising strategic methods to identify opportunities to ensure a sustainable and more cost efficient Banking Group to compete in today’s market, whilst strengthening the banks controls for FSA compliance.•End to End review of Banking Group Anti Money Laundering process. Managed an end to end review of internal Anti Money Laundering practices to address unsatisfactory levels of errors where incorrect proofs had been accepted. Through utilising methods to identify the root causes an interactive intranet based troubleshooting guide was built that was deployed throughout three functional areas to ensure consistency and adherence to the AML policy. Reduced error levels (34%), improved customer experience and increased colleague satisfaction levels were observed through reporting and online surveys. •Banking transformation Programme, Co-operative Banking Group. Assisted Infosys Limited and Deloitte Consulting on a £470m programme to replace the banking group IT platform with an Infosys banking solution (Finacle) to integrate Co-operative bank and Britannia IT systems due to merger. Through understanding high level design documents, Functional Specs and regular workshop with business Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), created 'to be' process maps for the payments inbound and outbound, ATMs and clearing/reconciliation. These process maps were in turn utilised downstream within business readiness and UAT.

Gained green belt Six Sigma Certification and ISEB business analysis diploma via external training providers, also completed MEGA mapping architecture course provided by Mega Consulting.•Customer Processing Services helplines project.Targeting First Call Resolution in addressing the handoff volumes. Mainly lean driven this project highlighted the requirement of accurate process maps to clearly identify potential cycle time delays and unnecessary waste. Quantified opportunities identified c£100k of benefits which were implemented and benefits tracked to ensure sustainability.•Process Management/Operational Rigour (PMOR) Programme. Assisted Deloitte Consulting this included analysis and process re-engineering to identify opportunities throughout the organisation to reduce operational costs. This was enabled by data gathering, workshops and interviews with business areas. Benefits tracking and reporting ensured business ‘buy in’ from stakeholders within the business areas. IT enhancements were explored and costs quantified where necessary and reflected in overall potential benefits. •Lean end to end review of Career Development Loans. Worked with IBM Consultancy in analysing current state of Career Development Loans (CDLs). Utilising lean methodology to identify cycle time and processing time with aim to improve customer experience and cost efficiencies. Identified tactical, strategic and blue sky options of improvement and presented these to senior stakeholders for sign off as to which to proceed with. Identified C.160k of benefit for consideration.
