During his 30 year career, Leighton has worked across a diverse spectrum of projects. He is a Senior Architect with a broad and solid knowledge base, leading and coordinating multi-disciplinary resources on complex project types including industrial, laboratory, educational, pharmaceutical, cleanroom, animal house, healthcare and residential. He is adept at commanding and synthesising the input from a wide range of project stakeholders to deliver cohesive project outcomes.He is meticulous, passionate and positively engages with the architecture profession, clients and industry. He is a clear and concise communicator, exacting and highly adaptable with ability to work autonomously and demonstrates leadership capability to drive team performance.Leighton has a strong working knowledge of the NCC (BCA), DDA, the Australasian Health Facility Guidelines, Laboratory Codes, PIC/S Code of cGMP, OGTR Regulations and the key Australian Standards applicable to the design and documentation of services intensive facilities. Leighton displays a keen interest in ESD, process driven design and commitment to a true multidisciplinary approach. He is a highly effective designer and team leader with a focus on exceeding clients’ expectations through his strong customer service orientation.
