I restarted in research with two main projects. The first one was the DIGILE research programme "Need for speed" (N4S). It focused on business models, tools and processes that help companies speed up their business to proactively take advantage of the real-time economy. The other one was an EU project Cloud Collaborative Manufacturing Networks (C2NET), where cloud-enabled tools will be created for supporting the supply network optimization of manufacturing and logistic assets based on collaborative demand, production and delivery plans. From January 2018 to June 2019 I acted as the facilitator of Analytics plus growth network. It is the alliance of data analytics, machine learning and AI companies. The alliance is currently operated within Allied ICT Finland framework, https://alliedict.fi/I'm the contact person for AI maturity tool https://ai.digimaturity.vtt.fi/ willing to talk with the companies and organisations that have assessed their AI maturity with our free on-line tool. In May 2019 I completed the AI diploma organised by Aalto University. During autumn 2019 we published ApuaDigiin.fi website with tools and methods supporting SMEs to progress with digitalisation.Currently my projects focus on the digitalisation of manufacturing companies. We are helping SMEs to define their sustainable development path towards digitalisation.

I was a technology advisor in the R&D management team. Our main tasks are:* centralised / focused and optimised support of Vice Presidents and Technology managers for R&D planning and reporting together with Controllers* acting and facilitating of management group work in Knowledge clusters (and R&D) and operative management teams * secretary in customer advisory board of electronics and ICToperative support for Technology managers and Vice Presidents* R&D voice (representation) in VTT level development items* Support of competence management and developmentIn the team we divided the main responses of Knowledge clusters and Operative management teams. My clusters wereTK60 Microtechnologies and sensors and TK80 ICT. Managing marketing and communication of VTT Electronics. Member of the board. As the marketing manager I coordinated the sales and marketing plans and research reviews of research areas as well as the annual reviews of VTT Electronics. In addition I introduced VTT Electronics to the visitors and organised events like 35th anniversary of VTT Oulu together with the marketing team.

In the beginning my focus was in software development. I have developed and designed software in several projects including real-time control system software for harvesters, AGVs (Autonomous Guided Vehicles) and surface treatment robots. These control systems were developed using heterogeneous operating systems (DOS, QNX, QP, Windows NT + INtime real-time extension) and C or C++.
