After obtaining his Bachelor’s degree in Economic Sciences and Management from HEC-ULg, Management School of the University of Liège, Belgium, Nicolas specialized in Marketing and Strategic Intelligence by joining HEC-ULg’s 2-year Master’s programme from which he graduated last September (2014).Alongside his studies, Nicolas has been highly involved in various extra-curricular activities. In march 2012, he started by joining and quickly managing one of HEC’s Junior Enterprises, composed of 19 members and active in finance-related services such as Audit and Financial Analysis. Being heavily entrepreneur and eager to take on new challenges, Nicolas and his team quickly identified an opportunity and developed a new range of services aiming to help entrepreneurs from Liège area by supporting them in developing every elements needed in Business Plan writing (Team description, Marketing researches, financial plan, marketing plan, brand creation, etc.). During his first year of Master, he also founded, with 5 other students, an all-new Junior Enterprise within the school, active in Social Media Management.During his last year at the University, Nicolas, as an intern for HEC-ULg, has been working on several initiatives aiming to support entrepreneurial students from Liège area. Working closely with the General Director & Dean as well as with the Entrepreneurship department of the school, Nicolas participated in establishing the first “Student Entrepreneurs Status” within the University of Liège and developed one of the first University-based incubators aiming students and recent graduates.After a few months within the SAP industry in Luxembourg as a consultant, Nicolas has now joined Galand SA, active in the packaging business. In charge of the business development within Namur and Luxembourg area, Nicolas learned how to create and manage a customers portfolio, take care of his clients, assure an excellent after-sales service and reach figured objectives.
