Prepares and administers medication to residents under the direction of the nursing staff and within the scope of practice for a CMT; and documents accordingly. Observes residents for side effects, interactions and implications of common medicines.Provides medical and physical care, in accordance within the scope of practice (CNA), to the residents to meet their daily needs. Actively participates in the resident’s care/service plan for the purpose of improving the life of the resident.

Responsible for providing assistance in the effective daily operation of the branch to include: customer support in the areas of circulation, basic instruction in the use of the catalogs and assistance with branch equipment. Able to provide support in the areas of customer complaint handling, problem solving, and file maintenance, typing and/or computer data input. Have excellent customer service skills, the ability to be flexible, have strict attention to detail, and a strong commitment to public service and willing to work in an environment with patrons of all ages.
