They were published corresponding to seasons in 2009. The books were an experiential guide to California, organized according to readers' interests and preferred itineraries rather than traveler category (family, single, etc.) or venue pricing. SIP was wine-focused, SUN was a guide to beach and desert communities, and SNOW was snow sports. I interviewed 70 experts for each book -- ranging from celebrity chefs to Olympic athletes to scientists.
