I have been creating theatre since leaving the U of C Drama program in search of a better life. I thought I might audition for big theatres and try out for the festivals, but it turns out I am much better at making things up. I do a fair amount of contract producing, as well as shows for my own amusement and income (occasionally). A lot of my work has at least some amount of audience interaction, mostly because I cut my teeth working with Calgary's leading provider of interactive murder mystery and medieval feast services. Most of what I create now has an international aspect, collaborating with artists from around the world, some of whom are right here in Canada, and exposing Canadian audiences to theatrical forms they might not be familiar with. I also contract out as a storyteller, for example amusing and educating guests for an amazing locally owned walking tour provider and similar for a local heritage village. I will definitely perform at your child's birthday party, I've already got some ideas about how to make it the best party ever.Fun facts:I love a good tutorial, and will rage against poor user interface design.Not afraid of run-on sentences.Still masking, yo.
