Profile bio

About Lene Hansen

'Where's the Harm? - My Life in Crime - An alternative introduction to Criminology' is an anti-textbook that seeks to unlock the future of criminology rather than tie it to the past. It steps away from traditional textbooks which tell the reader random facts and then rate their future professional potential on their ability to recall those facts on a specific day and time. Instead, it uses the psychological power of story-telling and real-world events, followed by a holistic set of inter-disciplinary questions. The reader and/or student can then respond by putting forward their own thoughts and hopefully finding their own passion for a subject._________________________Lene has over 20 years of experience in the financial industry, where she held senior roles in regulation, litigation, project management, and change management. She holds degrees in psychology, criminology, and law from prestigious universities and has multiple certifications, publications, and awards in her field. She also founded The Glass Ceiling Project in 2017 to address the lack of practical training and mentoring for graduates and professionals in the financial industry. She is passionate about helping people overcome the barriers that limit their potential.

Listed skills include Change Management, Regulatory Compliance, Operational Risk Management, Project Management, and 15 others.
