Business Development

Genan is a tyre recycling company with 4 tyre recycling facilities in Europe and one in the US. Genan builds and operates tyre recycling plants in Europe and the US. In the rest of the World Genan engages into JV partnerships with strong local partners and with Genan as minority shareholder (maximum 35%).

Genan is a tyre recycling company with 4 tyre recycling facilities in Europe and one under construction in the US, and sales offices in the UK, Spain and the US. My tasks included all Genan entities in Denmark, Germany, the UK, Spain and the US.

Working as Head of Communication at Genan Business & Development A/S from 2008-2011My tasks included all Genan entities in Denmark, Germany, the UK, Spain and the US.- Developing the B-to-B communication strategy of the company both print and digital (Brochures, presentations, website, animation movie, film footage of products, PR etc.)- HR – recruitment of employees (creation of job descriptions, selecting candidates and interviews)- Lobbyism in connection with for example establishment of turnkey projects in foreign countries- Organizing, planning and executing conferences- Everyday handling of marketing matters (advertising, website, press releases etc.)

An online sports news site covering all sports news 7 days a week with 6 journalists, both live coverage and feature stories. Developed and implemented the website with 4 co-owners.

Viborg Gruppen was the parent company evolving around tyres and consisted of companies manufacturing retreaded tyres (VIBORG DÆK), wholesale of a large variety of tyre brands, a retail chain consisting of more than 550 workshops in Europe and a tyre recycling facility. Most of the company’s assets were sold to Michelin in 2003, with the exception of the recycling company (Genan).
