The Let’s Give Women a Chance programme under the Open Society Fund Prague promotes equal opportunities for women and men both in work and personal life as well as prevention and help for victims of domestic and gender-based violence in the Czech Republic. It is funded from Norway Grants and the official title is “CZ 12 Mainstreaming Gender Equality and Promoting Work-Life Balance / Domestic and Gender-based violence”. The programme will allocate 158,5 million Czech crowns to projects with this focus in the years 2013-2016.Assessment CommitteeMembers of the assessment committee are appointed by the OSF Prague Board of Trustees from the ranks of impartial experts in the given field. The evaluation committee consists of at least three members and at least one of them must be independent of the fund, i.e. not be an employee or a member of the Board of Trustees of the OSF. The committee evaluates applications in the given programme area and recommends relevant projects for support to the OSF Prague Board of Trustees.
