Full Professor of applied mathematics and high performance computing with an industry focus. I spend my time in 3 roles: academic: Teaching, mentoring and research;industry: Partnering with biomedical R&D industry to develop commercially viable IP;consulting: I operate a specialized consulting firm supporting industrial research teams with academic partnership facilitation and grant applications.My research focuses on mathematical modelling, scientific computing and dynamical systems with applications in physics, biology, physiology and digital medicine.I work with Python/NumPy, Matlab, parallel computing (OpenMP, MPI, Numba, CUDA), and GitHub.I have strong experience in human subject research including collaborating on study and protocol design, applying for REB/IRB, and handling anonymised clinical data in privacy and security compliant manner.
