As Director, I led a staff of active duty, government service and contractor professionals in performing missile defense advocacy activities in support of Warfighter integration into Missile Defense Agency (MDA) capability development, testing, and delivery processes.

As Deputy Commodore to a Bahrain-based destroyer squadron, I directly supported planning and operations for conducting maritime security, intelligence collection, coalition operations, counter-piracy, counter arms smuggling, and merchant shipping protection in the Arabian Gulf, Strait of Hormuz, Gulf of Oman, Gulf of Aden Indian Ocean, Red Sea, and North Arabian Sea.

As Action Officer with Joint Staff J35 Directorate, I directly supported strategic and operational planning for the Middle East portfolio. I participated in national security level policy formation and strategies to include developing integrated solutions with Joint Staff, Department of State, Office of Secretary of Defense for Policy, and Department of Defense to inform strategic-level decision-making.

As Executive Assistant, I directly supported two Navy 3-Star Admirals responsible for Fleet Operations. I led small front-office staff in providing executive-level support to senior executives, prioritizing key leader engagements, preparing annual Commander's Conference (board meeting), liaison to key stakeholders, and overseeing large staff.

As Commanding Officer of a U.S. Navy Aegis Class Destroyer operated by 300+ diverse professionals, I have proven skills in engineering, combat systems, communications, logistics, maritime safety, maritime operations and aviation operations. My personal leadership activities include ensuring resilient and positive working environment, implementation of U.S. Navy human resource policies, compliance with multiple occupational safety standards, implementing best engineering practices, and maintaining core proficiencies, in military tactics, techniques and procedures (MTTP), damage control procedures, material maintenance, and continuous readiness assessment strategies.

As Executive Assistant to Navy3-star Admiral, I directly supported the Surface Navy's Surface Warfare Enterprise. In this role I demonstrated leadership skills in collaborating across multiple cross functional teams supporting the maintenance, manpower, training, and education strategies to sustain the Surface navy's overall war fighting readiness strategies, articulating the Commander's priorities in both internal and external correspondence, and identifying strategic opportunities to imrprove enterprise efficiency.

As a career surface warfare officer I earned qualifications in various fields including engineering, combat systems, navigation, occupational safety, and maritime operations. During my career progression, I demonstrated shipboard leadership of small teams, large departments, and finally destroyer command. My staff tours include experiences in recruiting, manpower, maintenance, naval operations, and working with multinational partners.
