Capital Budgeting & Expenditure, MI Reporting – Upstream – Oil & GasAccountabilities:Develop operating budgets and capital expenditure recommendation in order to meet operational and financial goals.Monitor expenditure to ensure compliance with approved budget.Supervise the preparation of all financial reports, including profit and loss statement, balance sheet and statement of cash flows, as well as the year-end financial reports.Responsible for passing & Signoff on journal entry for monthly accruals, true up/true down entries based on accurate Revenue figures.Monitor project costs and close out those accounts once the related projects have been completed.Co-ordinate with Finance Manager & Technical team on preparation of the Business Plan and Qtly LE .Co-ordinate with Onshore Exploration Manager & Team Leads for Operating Plan submission.Prepare KPI for Capex Projects, status of accounts and special project analysis reports for use by management.Tasked with generating analytical insights and suggestions that span the organization’s objectives and deliverables, either autonomously or in collaboration with others. Management reporting for commercial and business managementProviding financial counsel and assistance to business projectsProcess mapping of newly implemented structuresBusiness integration assistance for subsidiaries, joint ventures, mergers, and acquisitions

Accountabilities:Handled a wide gamut of activities pertaining to Accounts receivable functions including collections, customer accounts reconciliation, finalization, sign-off and evaluation of new accounts.Managed cash applications and assisted with credits/refunds.Directed dispute management related to sales, cash application and order processing, etc.Assisted with the implementation and compliance to internal financial controls and procedures.Served as contact point for all client escalation and ensured complete resolution by following up on all escalated cases.Liaised and coordinated with internal and external sales & purchase teams.

• Should prepare budget according to the program and staff numbers, taking care of funds to pay bills and salaries of employees, vendors, solutions to business and financial problems,• Prepare profit and loss statements, analyze revenue and resolve accounting discrepancies.• Maintaining records of accounts as archives, good skills of computer software and manual filing systems.• Monitoring reports with accuracy and detail and submitting the timely monthly, quarterly and year end close reports in duly manner as per the deadlines and rules of the Government, State and District bodies
