Responsible for the overall planning, organizing, and execution of all IT functions; this includes directing all IT operations to meet company requirements as well as the support and maintenance of existing systems and development of new technical solutions.• Plan, organize, and manage staff to ensure the stable operation of the IT infrastructure.• Work in a consultative and collaborative fashion with executives and other department heads, such as communication/marketing, finance, and operations as an adviser of technologies that will improve their efficiency and effectiveness.• Develop, maintain, support and optimize key functional areas such as network infrastructure, server infrastructure, data communications and telecommunications systems.• Develop multi-year technical plans to assure information systems are able to support new technologies and increased user needs.• Direct and develop the company’s IT policies while addressing strategic direction, development and future growth.• Conduct research and make recommendations on products, services, protocols and standards in support of all infrastructure procurement and development efforts.• Manage agreements with vendors and maintain proper documentation.• Maintain security of all proprietary data and responsibility for disaster recovery.• Oversee of departmental budgets, policies and procedures.Also responsible for managing and maintaining all aspects of LAN/WAN infrastructure, servers, routers, phones and firewalls.
