I'm innovating a grid-independent refrigeration system in Rajasthan, India, merging solar thermal and a vapor absorption machine. This sustainsably cools local produce in cold storage, using a geothermal earth air heat exchanger for initial cooling. My Ph.D. focuses on this novel approach, promising efficient, eco-friendly harvest preservation for farmers in the region.

The research study deals with the experimental investigations on influence of bed design on the performance of desiccant solar still. Two different bed designs have been considered, viz. tray and wire mesh channel. Heat and mass transfer performance of desiccant solar still is found to be dependent on the bed design.
