Successfully managed materials and planning functions to support program managers (PM) meeting project delivery and cost target and doubled planning efficiency to support company’s significant revenue growth • Created a planning tool using Excel, VBA and MS SQL to automatically structure project BOMs in ways planners, buyers and PM can easily identify critical path items and take appropriate actions. This tool received companywide adoption and greatly improved planning efficiency, which enabled planners to effectively manage many complex projects (from 200 to 2000+ line items in BOM) concurrently with speed and accuracy. The gained efficiency enabled the company to achieve double to penta-fold output while maintaining the same planner headcount and management personnel. • Developed project cost tool to identify material usage deviation from project BOM and abnormally high assembly cost for a level by level drill down to identify the root causes.
