Employment GoalsFull time employment in education or foreign service after graduating from the University of Arizona.About meI am entering my senior year at the University of Arizona in the fall of 2024, with a major in economics and a minor in government and public policy. I was accepted to the UofA on the wildcat scholarship, and have maintained the scholarship throughout each semester. I have been recognized with the “dean's list” this past semester (spring 2024). I grew up in Arizona, so the state has a very special place in my heart. I enjoy being outside, whether that's hiking, skateboarding, or rock climbing. Growing up around incredible natural monuments such as the Grand Canyon and the pine forest in Flagstaff, I have developed a deep appreciation for nature, and I want to translate this passion into my work later in life. Soft skillsPersonable - I feel that I can find common interests and have interesting conversations with many different peopleEmpathetic - I often try to imagine myself in others situations in order to have a better understanding of how they are feeling. This helps me appreciate other people's perspectives.Creativity - I try to find unexpected solutions in situations. For the majority of the time, I aid educationUSA in preparation for university students traveling to the United States by creating pre-orientation materials, providing information for English learning documents, and connecting with schools in Valencia in order to promote study in the U.S. Other than my work with educationUSA, I have been fortunate to be able to research different facets of sustainable urban development in both Spain and the U.S. This research has helped me gain a better understanding of how individuals interact with their urban environments, which is a topic I wish to incorporate into my work in the future. I have also been able to improve my.understanding of how media is incorperated into an instution like IEN, which is a highly transferable skill that I wish to improve on. Show less
