Provide Instrumentation & Controls support to manufacturing and engineering for production of Human Genetic Therapies.

Responsible for the operation, maintenance and repair of:1. Critical utility systems such as CSG, RO, WFI generation and distribution as an API for cell cuture scale up and protein purification in a cGMP environment. (Fabrazyme Production) 2. HVAC air handlers and control system (BMS) to maintain proper room DP requirements.3. Vessel and Bioreactor instrumentation and controls (Emerson Delta V).4. Compressed air generation and drying equipment, and various gas (O2, CO2, N2) pressure reduction and mixing stations used in the production process. 5. High pressure steam (120PSI) reducing stations and distribution loops (50PSI) and (15PSI) and subsequent condensate return systems. Chilled water and other cooling water systems.6. Electrical distribution and MCC buckets and VFD’s.7. Hot water boilers and unit heaters for facility comfort.8. Waste water collection system and treatment plant.

Chosen to provide technical support and design ideas for new product development including programming in PLC, Servo and Safety PLC software environments. (Fusion)Provide support to the powerhouse when requested.Troubleshoot and repair, robotics, lasers, electrical, and controls systems for high speed manufacturing equipment, including PC repair and networking solutions. Perform scheduled preventive maintenances to electrical systems minimizing downtime.Document repair and failure information into a maintenance management system which identifies trends. Suggest reengineering ideas if cost effective. (18 accepted in 2005-2006)

Troubleshoot, maintain and repair, all equipment within the facility used in the generation of >1500MW of electricity, included but not limited to; relay control systems, PLC's, general lighting, and installed items mentioned in next bullet.Installation of electrical machinery, motors, motor controls, variable speed drives, pumps and power distribution systems including installation of conduit, cable trays and cabling.

Performed maintenance, calibration and installation of various control devices included but not limited to; TC's, RTD's pressure, level, flow controllers. CEM monitoring systems.Involved in complete overhaul of outdated equipment to a Honeywell 3000 DCS system.Influenced in the redesign of controls for a waste water treatment system.

Ran drills on all power plant personal. Trained and tested Reactors Controls Division. Cross trained other departments. Prepared for NRC testing and ORSE Audit.

Responsible for 33 men and two nuclear reactors, including PMS scheduling, supply requisition, material history, evaluations and operational duties. Qualified as SRO.
