Works along side the Sales Team and customer on the Space planning / Concept development and subsiquent selection of furniture. Performs, space planning, furniture selection, case studies, product pricing, design and selection of fabrics and finishes, over sees production of Schematic and Detailed design.Attends Tender Interviews and client’s planning meetings to determine furniture needs and develops tailored solutions. Presents and sells design services and capabilities through personal interaction and business development. Offers creative solutions consultation to customers. Answering both routine and highly specialised questions covering all aspects of workspace design. Regularly attends furniture training to ensure a thorough understanding of furniture sold within our portfolio. Coordinates, develops, and reviews proposed project designs and construction plans in conjunction with clients requirements and the contract BOQ. Prepares presentation material including color finish boards / CGI's and mood boards. Prepares project finishes specifications sheets, double checks specifications against plans/ BOQ's and CGI's. Works closely with client in order to get them approved. Reviews all drawing that leave the department to make sure the meet the company design standards. Schedules all activities within the design department and track number of working hours spent on each activity. Coordinates subcontractors specialist drawings into detailed design package. Interacts with supplier to understand best practice installation. Makes recommendations on process improvement. Daily interaction with client account base and prospects, furniture vendors, interior design department employees, furniture personnel, sales team, order management team, and various architectural, design, and construction representatives.
