• Analyze performance metrics and benchmark performance across the function.• Guide checks to verify adherence to local operating/work procedures.• Prepare inputs and produce the budget for the Maintenance function.• Produce procedures and work instructions.• Perform detailed analysis of condition monitoring • Implement maintenance work plans to validate the integrity of plant, equipment and infrastructure.• Analyze life of plant, equipment and infrastructure and determine equipment capability assumptions.• Initiate root cause analysis and “failure type” reviews (e.g.5 Whys, FMELA) of plant equipment• Initiate and approve Master Data requests for area of accountability.• Update maintenance procedures, work instructions and control systems coding where relevant.• Validate if work plans are in place for critical controls and monitor the effectiveness of the plans.• Initiate engineering requests (via 1SAP work management) on behalf of the Maintenance function to improve equipment safety and reliability, and ensure ownership of the same until completion.• Validate the standardization of work instructions / procedures and strategies for the same plant equipment and infrastructure within the Operation or across multiple Operations when mandated.
