𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐲:I am working on the Testmanager product at Trimble and unlike project work, working on a product gives you the ability to work on something, that will live on. The TestManager also has some unique features, it uses Microsoft Extensibility Framework to add new test suites to the Main programme at runtime. You don't often see the Microsoft Extensibility Framework used and it's a shame as it definitely has its place in the world and was a good choice in this case.Then working in this area between hardware and software is a new world to me. It's fascinating to see what can be done in the BIOS. Last few years we have been working on a new version of the test manager using the Amazon Web Service Devops stack. Moving everything into micro services for the ability to scale as the load on the system increases. 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐲:I started on the Census project and my responsibilities was the delivery ofthe data warehouse (SQL Server 2008 R2) and Microsoft cubes (SSAS) with the combineddata from the past 3 censuses (2001, 2006 and 2013). The data needed to be transformed(ETL, SSIS, SQL) to the classifications (dimensions, BI Architecture) that were to be used for theCensus 2013 data so that the output products Quickstats about a place and Iwi profiles couldbe created.To create these products the Cubes were used to generate 200 000 pages of informationthat use to take 50 people 9 months to do manuallyAfter Census I was asked to lead the creation of data warehouse (SQL Server 2012, SSIS) andMicrosoft cubes (SSAS) for the household project in Wellington as well as the warehouse and Cube (SSAS) creation for the National accounts section. During the last few years, I have been working on C#.net and SQL projects of varying types. Most recently I have been working on REST APIs for a new system using: C#.NET, Json, and Unit, Moq.Within Statistics, I have coached 4 teams in Wellington and 4 teamsin Christchurch, started the Agile Communities in both the Wellington office and theChristchurch office.
