As Project Manager I was responsible for managing the planning, executing and closingphases of a new recycling facility at Gamma Recycling. This was a multi-disciplinaryproject that included Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Process and Control andInstrumentation Engineering components including automation of Grinding Plant. This is the firstrecycling facility of its kind in Africa.This role also included the management of the onsite Project Management Office whichincluded management of contracts for external contractors, project standards anddocumentation, Health and Safety standards and project budget.I am currently the operations manager for this plant which includes management of theday to day operations, planning, maintenance and ongoing improvement projects.
