Responsible for managing current projects relating to operations and maintenance of sewerage systems and waste- and potable water utilities.

Responsible for the operations of eighty six water purification systems (including bore holes), maintenance of all facilities with no restriction in order to preserve continuity and service standards.The following technical services apply:Abstract raw water from approved sources to meet the relevant standards of the Water Resources Commission;Produce and maintain water quality, pressure and flow rates at all discharge points from treatment plants and through the distribution networks to meet or exceed all relevant standards determined by the Ghana Standards Board;reduction in non-revenue water;procurement of chemicals and optimization of usage;optimization of energy usage;compilation and implementation of technical procedures;

Responsible for the annual energy budget, quantity of water to be treated and chemical use thereof, planning and control of monthly planned loads, drafting of chemical contracts and control of daily usage. Performing research on operational problems and improving processes. Monitor efficiencies of major pump and vibration on all rotating equipment. Treatment of sludge results from the purification plants.Also responsible for negotiations with the Department of Water Affairs and Forestry (DWAF) for the control of a raw water supply during dry seasons, raw water quality problems and water accounts.Coordination of operations and maintenance programmes as well as the training for Rand Water’s New Business Development (Rand Water Services) at municipalities, water treatment works and to ensure that the capital investments are optimised.

Responsible for training clients in chemical dosing, auditing of their plants, design and construction of chemical dosing systems. The testing of water treatment chemicals on raw- and sewerage water in order to make recommendations.

Worked as a Mechanical Engineer for the first two months and was responsible for maintenance management, planning and co-ordination of plant shutdowns, budget control and responsible for HR/IR matters.Was promoted to Operations Engineer which included maintenance and production of Chlorine manufacturing. Assist in marketing, and the investigation of clients' queries.

Responsibilities during the first two years included design, project management and installation of equipment to operate the process. Promoted to Assistant Engineer and was responsible for maintenance management, planning and co-ordination of plant shutdowns, budget control and also responsible for HR/IR matters.
