Responsibilities included:1. Working with hardware engineering and computer-aided design teams (CAD) to identify and correct early design defects or errors that could affect production or ease of manufacturability.2. Working with Printed Circuit Board (PCB) suppliers to identify fab materials and manufacturing processes both effective and economical.3. Working with cross-functional teams (Hardware engineering/Software engineering/Firmware/Supply chain) to deliver new products to market, identify the most cost-effective parts and processes, and identify and reduce manufacturing failures and defects.

Debug Engineer for the Test Development Team.Responsibilities included:1. Debugging and fixing prototype and production network switches2. Training Production Test Engineers.3. Identifying test coverage gaps on products coming to market, and working with test development and diagnostic engineers to make improvements.2. Working with Test Development and diagnostic engineers to determine an optimal level of test coverage that provides a detailed for production while minimizing overall test time

Identifying faulty test equipment with test development engineers.4. Tracking and reporting failure trends to hardware and diagnostics engineers to help drive future improvements.
