About Leonardo Malburg

I am a PhD candidate at the University of Twente, NL, specializing in Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) for electric aviation systems.Research, data analysis, simulation, equipment testing, and design are all areas in which I have experience. I work primarily with compatibility checks on systems and circuits, and the design of EMC solutions as EMI filters. My academic experience started with the project titled "EASIER," funded by the European Union's Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme. My research focused on the creation of EMI filters for non-propulsion systems onboard electric aircraft, with a particular emphasis on device miniaturisation. I effectively analysed the impact of various measuring methodologies on the resulting size of the EMI filter, the placement of filtering solutions throughout the system, and the distribution of filtering demand across different filtering stages through extensive research and analysis. With a productive academic background, I have written multiple scientific papers explaining these principles, and I have had the opportunity to present my findings at important conferences in both the United States and Europe. My work in this field aims to not only improve current EMC understanding and solutions but also to encourage a safer and more efficient electric aviation landscape.I am eager to explore new frontiers, solve complicated electromagnetic challenges, and collaborate with other industry specialists to promote continued progress in electrical aircraft systems. If you want to know more about me: https://www.utwente.nl/en/eemcs/pe/4.people-new/phd/malburg_c/#biographyhttps://www.researchgate.net/profile/Leonardo-Malburg-2If you want to know more about EASIER:http://www.easier-h2020.eu/
