-In this Internship, I made 4 continuous improving studies of PVC production process, namely, energetic performance and economic viability studies of heat exchangers systems, PVC drying systems energy and steam consumption and energetic integration of a possible PVC industrial drying process which an estimated energetic saving of 50000€ per year;-During this Internship, I made some technical reports and I performed 1 technical presentation;-I was integrated on a team composed by 3 members where I performed PVC polymerization reactions at a pilot reactor, to study the new products’ industrialization as well to identify, solve and report hypothetical problems during their respective production;-To understand the influence of modification of processual parameters on product’s quality, I made some laboratorial analysis such DTG;-Due to the diversity of work's fields, I deepened my orientation for safety, environment, planning and organization, as well, I expanded my comunicational with others workers from different departaments, proactivity, priority management, teamwork and maintenance of equipments.

• Participation on a Research and Development Project resulting from a partnership stablished between University of Aveiro and the Portuguese company Renova-FPA S.A. in order to study the introduction of an innovative technology for paper production to reduce raw materials consumption, cut the operational costs and increase the final products’ quality;• Work experience with a multidisciplinary team composed by 7 members from University of Aveiro and 4 elements from Renova S.A.; • Study, Planning, Execution and Evaluation of several activities to achieve the desirable goals;• Work executed at University of Aveiro and Renova-FPA S.A.’s facility

• Participation on a modification of production process of Caima S.A. with the intention to recover this facility as able to produce a product that is unique at the Portuguese market and rare in Europe;• Study, Planning, Execution and Evaluation of several laboratorial essays in order to choose and optimize process parameters of 3 different hypothetical alternative processes;• Work under pressure to present the results quickly as possible;• Study, Planning, Execution and Evaluation of several laboratorial rehearsal to understand the influence of different productive processes and the modification of several operational parameters on the qualitative parameters needed for certification of the new product.
