Leonardo Moreno is a goalkeeper and captain for the APU Men's soccer team and working on his Master of arts Leadership in Business degree at Azusa Pacific University. Leo received his BA in Accounting from Azusa Pacific University in May of 2022. He was among the top 10 percent of the 5000 students recognized by the National Hispanic Recognition Program for their outstanding scores in the PSAT and graduated from high school with all honors as a California Scholarship Federation member. Leonardo is expertly balancing working as a Student application processor for APU, playing for the Men’s soccer team at APU, as well as taking a total of 4 classes a semester. Leonardo’s drive for excellence stems from the desire to constantly develop as a student of life and be the best employee, coworker, brother, son, friend, and person he can be. His experience balancing his education, his work life, and sport make him the perfect candidate to juggle multiple tasks and his lack of fear of failure and his accountability sets him up to be a very fast learner who can adapt easily in fast paced environments. This accounting assistant position is the perfect opportunity for him to begin his journey in the business industry and learn from experts who were once in his shoes. Leonardo has a passion for personal and collective growth which gives him the desire to be the best accountant he can be for anyone that he serves and he hopes he can apply his best qualities forward to continue to help businesses and companies in need of help solving problems.
