I embarked on my data journey in February 2021, starting as a Business Analyst intern at Nubank. This role was crucial in shaping my analytical mindset and refining my data handling skills. During this period, I became proficient in SQL and Spark Scala, working the art of data analysis. My responsibilities include building and maintaining datasets, transforming raw data into valuable datasets, and ensuring that data is accessible and usable for analysts to drive business impact.The core of my work lies at the intersection of data engineering and business analytics. I bridge the gap between software engineers, who provide the raw data, and business analysts, who use this data to take strategic decisions. By understanding business needs and translating them into technical requirements, I ensure that the data infrastructure supports robust and impactful analysis.My role is crucial in the ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) process, particularly in the transformation phase, where I ensure data is refined and ready for analysis. Key competencies in my current role include data modeling, analytics engineering, and a deep understanding of business processes.I am passionate about creating seamless data solutions that empower analysts to uncover actionable insights, driving meaningful business outcomes, with a solid foundation in both the technical and analytical aspects of data.
