In this role, I revisited the CRM system I had previously developed, transitioning it to a more maintainable, low-code solution. I helped with integrating Make.com and Brevo, which provided a user-friendly interface for managing automations and services, significantly improving ease of use for future adjustments. The prepared solution included REST API calls from WordPress, which I extended to cover all necessary functionalities, ensuring the system could adapt to evolving business needs and variables.In addition to developing the new automation contact & followup system, I was responsible for aligning it with privacy policys, server maintenance, technical support, and cybersecurity measures for specific WordPress post types. A key aspect of my work involved learning and evaluating Next.js, exploring its potential to enhance the system's performance and future scalability.I also gained a deeper understanding of the WordPress function structure, developing strategies to isolate certain plugins from functionality changes. This allowed me to maintain a clean version history and prevent plugin updates from breaking custom features that relied on changing API endpoints.This role offered valuable experience in building scalable, flexible solutions, managing IT infrastructure, and securing systems for long-term growth, based on strategic directions for the company.

In my role, supported by the #ILB #ILBBrandenburg #Innovationexperts, I led the full cycle development and integration of a custom CRM system from the ground up. I was responsible for researching, planning, and executing the entire project, including selecting the software and implementation strategy. After evaluating solutions like HubSpot, I chose to develop the core logic in-house using JavaScript and HTML, creating a system that was fully customizable, easy to maintain, and especially compliant with german data privacy regulations. This approach allowed to avoid dependencies on third-party services, addressing potential privacy concerns in the sector.The system I built integrated multiple Elementor forms, triggered various automations, and seamlessly aligned with the existing WordPress website’s theme, templates, and CI. It was a rewarding challenge to combine plugins from the WordPress ecosystem with custom code, ensuring the solution met complex workflows, data privacy policies, and the varying logic dependencies required by the project.I am proud to see how effectively the CRM system was used, facilitating the management and processing of contacts through the system I developed.In addition to the CRM development, I also handled website maintenance, technical customer support, and IT support for the team. I had the opportunity to manage tasks across departments, working closely with a small team consisting of a UX/UI designer, marketing professional, and software engineer, distributing tasks and ensuring successful project delivery.This role allowed me to gain significant experience in managing complex projects, building and maintaining software, and adapting solutions to meet diverse technical and business requirements.
