I am a problem solver who enjoys a good challenge. I have a strong background in Microsoft technologies, with an emphasis on their Unified Communications platforms, in scales varying from tens to thousands of users. This includes the design, implementation, migration and support of Skype for Business and related Microsoft infrastructure such as Exchange and server platforms for a broad range of clients. I am comfortable with involvement at all stages from presales through to post migration support.I have experience in Active Directory, Microsoft DNS and DHCP, Exchange, Microsoft Certificate infrastructure (PKI), TMG, HyperV and VMware, and more recently Office365 - all to at least the degree sufficient to perform tasks required as part of a Skype for Business implementation. In addition to the focus on Microsoft Unified communications, I have experience in a broad range of IT roles, ranging from basic helpdesk, through hands-on hardware repair and service, to on-going backup management. Most recently my role has involved application packaging and deployment through SCCM.Non-technical capabilities include highly developed communication skills – including tailoring messaging for clients at any level of the business to convey new concepts or capture requirements. A high standard of documentation – which is an essential component of any supportable solution. Experience in working in a government environment with strict secrecy requirements, which helped develop an attention to security that I now bring to all assignments.
Listed skills include Technical Support, Troubleshooting, Windows Server, Lync, and 9 others.
