CurrentI worked on the next generation Infotainment system for BMW and MINI cars, built in Android.Initially, I became a part of the Media team, which had the responsibility of developing the Media App. Additionally, our team worked on crafting various media sources that users could access, including Tuner and USB. We also handled third-party integrations with platforms like Spotify and Deezer.Key Achievements:- Media Core Service, that would listen to the active source.- Stub Source, that would be used to mock a real source for manual and instrumented tests.- A side project called 'Ambient Background Light' that not only won an internal prize but also led to the creation of a new team at BMW.- Several contributions in terms of development and product solutionsAfter working for two years on the Media team, I accepted a new challenge from the company to start a new team that would work with Location Based Services. I would become the Scrum Knight (Scrum Master + Developer) of this team and manage up to 5 different products.Key Achievements:- Ramping up the team, helping several team members integrate the project- Communicate with several stakeholders, making sure that all the requirements are fulfilled- Be a servant leader to a Scrum Team- Manage an internal lib that is used by different apps.Main technologies and tools:- Mobile (Android): Kotlin, Dagger2, Hilt, Retrofit, Koin, Glide, Room, WorkManager, MVVM, Clean Architecture, Android Automotive
