Leon van Klaveren is a strategic product designer who is passionate about reimagining alternative futures. His work is dedicated to creating ethical, humane and sustainable alternatives that redefine the way we live and work. In today's world, where more design is often seen as the solution to all our problems, Leon seeks to uncover the root causes of societal problems and push the boundaries to find new ways of intervening that change our perceptions of what we consider normal and move us towards a more equitable future. He lives, designs, writes and teaches in the Netherlands.He currently works as a freelance Strategic Designer for the Technical University of Delft in the Delft Design Innovation & Impact team and at Flip The City, a startup that enhances urban biodiversity by using circular waste streams.
