As VP for the Mendix Global Partner Network, I’m driving the growth of our indirect sales channels by helping our partners unlock new revenue streams and deliver value for our customers. This experience sets the stage for driving even greater impact and success with our partners on a global scale.

In this role, I built a full product unit from the ground up, scaling it from 10 to over 130 people, covering all key disciplines such as engineering, design, product management, academy, community, and documentation. I optimized all processes and shifted focus to data-driven, impact-oriented strategies that accelerated customer and ecosystem growth. Key achievements include: - Achieved over 10x growth in monthly active platform users (MAPU), with a total of more than 360,000 new users onboarded. - Integrated the Mendix Community Platform and built a comprehensive Continuous Collaboration Platform to streamline collaborative development (Learn more about the platform here: https://www.mendix.com/platform/collaboration). - Rebuilt the entire Mendix Platform Experience, from sign-up to all the online components, including key platform services such as search, profile management, and navigation. - Transitioned the unit from building features and products to a focus on customer growth, driving self-service user activation and reducing time-to-app completion. - Supported the Mendix value framework by improving the customer journey from sign-up to adoption and aligning platform goals with broader company objectives. - Built a culture-driven unit known for its trust, collaboration, and "work hard, play hard" mentality, fostering energy and productivity.As a leader, I focused on empowering teams through clear strategy, co-creation, and trust, encouraging innovation while maintaining an engaging work environment.

Led the creation and growth of the Mendix Community and built the Mendix Community Platform from the ground up. We successfully transitioned from a Mendix-driven community to a community-driven ecosystem, empowering users to take ownership of content and knowledge-sharing. The community grew from thousands to hundreds of thousands of active members globally. Key accomplishments included: - Developed a thriving online and offline community with hundreds of thousands of active members. - Launched key community components: Mendix Forum, Mendix Marketplace, MVP Program, Mendix Academy, and various local and special interest sub-communities. Check it out at: https://community.mendix.com/p/community - After achieving self-sustaining growth, we transitioned from reporting to the CTO under R&D to reporting to the CMO, with a focus on growth through a multidisciplinary, growth-hacking team. - Once we had built a complete community platform and saw a stable new user growth, we integrated it closely with the Mendix product, focusing on activating users directly within the platform. - Scaled the team from 4 to 10 in marketing acting as an empowered growth hacking team.

Led the development of key features for the Mendix App Store. My main insight was that the true value of the App Store lay in its content. To scale, I engaged the community to contribute their components, resulting in 150 new additions in just one week. This success led to the creation of the Community Team, with the mission to build a thriving online and offline community, fostering collaboration and content sharing.
