Profile bio

About Leo Rodriguez

I have a privileged opportunity to participate in the transformation of clients' health and fitness. That is no small responsibility. Recognizing that my musculature held my body together, I have strength trained since middle school and I have the injuries to prove it. Not until I encountered a positive feedback loop for my improving my whole body strength and balance did I realize how beneficial guided exercise and proper nutrition are. My positive feedback loop was my physical therapist who informed me about my body's reactions to exercises, my wife who informed me about my body's reactions to proper nutrition, and my own experiences with different exercises. I encountered The Exercise Coach as a franchise opportunity. It is not a gym. It is a by-appointment personal training studio with a data-driven strength training model and the Exerbotics equipment that delivers the positive feedback loop I sought. The equipment is unique to The Exercise Coach: real-time digital feedback reflects one's effort through a safe range of motion without the momentum we otherwise expect at a gym. One's progression on each Exerbotics exercise is evident the moment the exercise is done and The Exercise Coach produces a log of the progression for all the exercises. One can walk out of the studio to see their personal progression on their smart phone with The Exercise Coach app. This is a satisfying positive feedback loop that encourages one to continue progressing regardless where they begin. If someone asks, "How is it going at The Exercise Coach?", one can show the progression graphs to answer. Strength training is not anecdotal at The Exercise Coach. What is more, the coaches at The Exercise Coach customize the Exerbotics equipment to the client, guide proper technique and provide personal feedback to acclimate clients to the new sensations of this exercise. The positive feedback loop of the coaches make one's progression personal, satisfying, and encouraging. It is a 20-minute workout done twice weekly. I have tried to replicate the effects of The Exercise Coach on my own but I could never safely do so in even an hour. With such a positive feedback loop available at The Exercise Coach, why would I keep trying exercises that are not as safe, efficient or effective? Why would you? "Choose how you age" is an adage at The Exercise Coach. It mirrors my personal fitness and lifestyle perfectly. I have a privileged opportunity to participate in your transformation regardless where you start. My coaches and I are committed to your journey going forward.
