AXA Emerging Customers is the inclusive insurance arm of AXA. Our mission is to make insurance accessible, affordable and relevant to nearly 4bn low income and mass market people whose lack of insurance makes them vulnerable to unforeseen events. • Lead the performance management practice at AXA Emerging Customers, providing understanding of the evolution of the business, highlighting status vs. targets, reminding priorities and signaling potential revenue gaps.• Drive the execution of the strategy for Latin America, with a focus on business development, and new business models definition.

• Provided footprint optimization and business development recommendations for AXA’s commercial lines business (countries, products and client segments), as part of the redefinition of AXA’s 5-yr strategy. • Contributed to the first-of-its-kind study of the women’s insurance market in 10 emerging economies in Asia, Latin America and Africa, in collaboration with the IFC.• Led a cross-department group that defined AXA’s long-term strategy in Africa. Among other results, recommendations led to the acquisition of a majority stake in Mansard, a top 5 Nigerian insurer in 2014, and CIL, a leading Egyptian insurer in 2015.• Contributed to the definition of AXA’s Emerging Customers initiative, including value proposition and overall strategic roadmap formalization. Since 2014, partnerships and strategic investments have been made with public, non-profit and private actors.Beyond strategic studies, other responsibilities include: (1) screening of M&A opportunities in Latin America, and (2) acting as an advisor to strategy reviews performed by other subsidiaries or departments

- Performed a short-term international assignment as a project manager at AXA Group´s Strategic Planning department in Paris, France- Led a multi-area team to develop the analysis and business case of a new distribution model seeking to improve sales practices and decrease acquisition costs- Coordinated local workstreams involved in the pre-signing stage of an M&A deal and launch of a long-term bancassurance agreement, closely liaised with AXA Group’s Corporate Finance team

- Led the development of AXA Mexico’s presentation document to AXA Group’s Board of Directors- Developed AXA Mexico's quarterly business reports and market benchmark presented at Regional and Group level- Collaborated in the design of communication plan and materials to share long term strategy with AXA Mexico’s employees. Awarded in 2010 by the Mexican Communication Association (AMCO) as the best communication material for employees
