Multidisciplinary-oriented person, with a dual-experience in the biomedical industry and academia. Environmental-friendly, respecting nature. Honest, independent and resourceful.Trained as an engineer in physics applied to the biomedical field, I worked for seven years in different biomedical companies, before deciding to increase my training in order to reach R&D positions in the industry, and ultimately contribute to applied research. I performed the PhD at the Institute of Research in Biomedicine, in the Barcelona Scientific Park, in the field of biophysics, which confirmed my will to pursue investigation. Having worked in both start up (Attana AB in Stockholm as application development specialist) and big companies (GSK biologicals, Abbott), I see small companies as a very challenging and stimulating environments in which a person can strongly contribute to the growth of the company and work in a multidisciplinary way, with a wide diversity of tasks. I believe that a strong R&D department in a company constitutes a key point in its sucess. Bringing research until patient benefits is one of the ultimate goals of investigation.
Listed skills include Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Protein Chemistry, and 26 others.
