A second-generation owner and operator of Rusty Eck Ford, Les Eck has led the growth of the family business in Wichita, Kansas, to include several dealerships and until recently, the Marine World watercraft dealership. A leadership member of the Ford Dealer Council, Les Eck and Rusty Eck Ford have received numerous honors through the years including the prestigious Ford Triple Crown in 2008. Through strategic planning and project management, Eck has continued to expand the profitable family-owned business by purchasing the Kia dealership in Wichita.The father of three, Les Eck has traditionally invested his volunteer time and charitable donations in efforts that enhance area schools and school programs. In 2002, he organized an Adopt-A-School (AAS) campaign that has grown into an ongoing program of support for teachers and other nonprofit organizations that face funding gaps. Annually, the AAS golf tournament provides money so teachers can purchase books and supplies for their students. Through Rusty Eck Ford and the other dealerships, nonprofits can raise money through ticket sales for a chance to win a donated vehicle.
