Since 1984 I have been involved in the IT world. My company Vector Consulting and later Netvector Commerce Inc. provided IT Management services to many small to medium size business. My skill at adapting to new technologies and to learn new programs and operating systems benefited my clients greatly. My clients were in many industries, retail, wholesale distribution, manufacturing and service to name a few.Over those years I sold, installed, configured and customized computerized accounting systems, inventory management systems, retail point of sale systems and managed client network servers (Unix, Windows, Linux) and PC’s. My background as an accountant in public practice for many years gave me the skills to develop these systems in the context of real business and help companies get the most out of their investment in their information systems. In 1996 I founded a web development company to bring the Internet to my clientele. We began creating ecommerce applications and established a web hosting facility.I have managed teams of programmers, graphic designers and client account and management staff for over 20 years. Most recently I was a Vice President in charge of developing a reseller channel and responsible for web development, marketing, system integrations and sales.Specialties: Much of my experience has been in the implementation of financial accounting, inventory management and retail point of sale systems. I spent 2 years in the payment industry focused on gift card and loyalty programs.The last 4 years have been spent at Phoenix Systems developing a division for Unified Communcations. A Unified Communications solution and offering was established with LifeSize Communications High Definition Video Conferencing and the Digium Switchvox VoIP platform.
