I currently advising senior leaders on the development of the programmes to be more accessible to young learners and relevant in schools with curriculum out comes and the wellbeing of students.

Originally appointed a director of the Schools Partnership Trust Academies and becoming Vice Chair in 2015 I continued with a revised Board through the rebranding to Delta Academies Trust in October 2016. I led the recruitment of additional Board members to meet its current composition. I chaired the Education Committee and worked closely with the CEO and senior team, seeing Delta secure phenomenal success and increases in student results in both primary and secondary academies.Chair and Member of 3 academy Education Advisory Boards

Appointed chair of an Interim Executive Board of a failing primary school. Key outcomes were to secure governance of the school to provide a sound basis of school improvement, securing a balanced budget with appropriate controls and supporting the academisation of the school. Improvement recognised by Ofsted.

Leading the sales performance of careers education, information and advice and guidance (CEIAG) resources into schools and post 16 centres. Developing new resources including the first online version of the internationally recognised Real Game series.

Developing and implementing government policy including apprenticeships, vocational qualifications, Connexions service, careers resources, education standards and the first Children’s Parliament I worked and build relationships with senior business and education leaders. This involved management of budgets to meet Treasury outcomes and processes and working with external organisations.
