I started Lambda Mediation in November 2000 when I left my previous employment as a senior lawyer with a local firm of solicitors. I subsequently obtained the Legal Services Commission Quality Mark to enable me to undertake publicly funded mediation and my contract with them now includes 9 outreach offices through the Thames Valley. I contract with other mediators on a self employed basis to work with me as required. I subsequently started doing workplace mediation through Cornelius Parker Mediation and People Resolutions and set up a consortium of mediators in this area to undertake this work. Later I went on the ADR conversion course to become an accredited civil mediator working on contract disputes. Throughout I have been the Practice Manager and have been solely responsible for the administration of the practice including all compliance issues.I am also a professional supervisor for 8 - 10 other mediators, some of whom I am mentoring through the initial stages of their careers by providing experience and advice. I also arrange group meetings from time to time where I can provide training items to cascade information.

I worked as a senior family lawyer specialising in high net worth clients in ancillary relief. I was head of the family team at the Slough office and Legal Aid Supervisor for that office.
