In my role of Communications Manager responsible for implementing and leading communications processes within the Renewables business, working with Internal Communications Managers across ScottishPower and Iberdrola and project managing the organisation and co-ordination of SPR and SP events in compliance with company standards and protocols. Also responsible for brand and sponsorship management to identify and execute key opportunities to enhance and promote the SPR brand. As Internal Communications & Events Co-ordinator my key tasks included project management of a wide range of high-profile events including Investor Days, Supplier Awards, Stakeholder Dinners, Government Visits, Windfarm Openings and Staff Conferences involving management of stakeholders, suppliers, external bodies and associated budget.I was also responsible for managing company Internal Communications, ensuring clear and consistent internal messaging to employees from Senior Business Leaders.

The role of Office & Administration Manager required me to manage a team to deliver all office administration and IT requirements for over 180 staff, including two Glasgow office locations. Also responsible for staff training of new equipment and processes, managing office moves and being a primary point of contact with the wider Business Services function.

As Project Co-ordinator based both on projects sites and in the central office, I managed the Project Office for a £62M engineering construction project, including developing, implementing and managing document control systems and assisting engineers with tender assessments. I was also responsible for providing secretarial and clerical services for senior management including managing contractual interfaces with main contractors.
