I am the Business Analyst in the Flight Selection Stream in the Selling Flow Development (SFD) Agile Project. My goals are to :• Transform the selling flow into an intuitive and engaging online journey• Personalise the customer experience with relevant product offerings• Improve site functionality to enable ease of searching, researching, saving, and sharing• Build a reactive customer driven retail flow using new technologiesAs the Business Analyst I am responsible for capturing the business requirements and ensuring the developers both front and backend fully understand their responsibilities. We are working to very tight deadlines and as it is an agile project there is a need to be very flexible and continually create, review and estimate the work.

As the Information Architect in the Commercial Service Factory at British Airways I was responsible for creating and maintaining a data model for the Service Factory, focusing on Customer, Product and Order. The data model was used for all SOA services in the Commercial Service Factory using DXSI.I worked closely with the domain Business Architects to create metadata to enrich the data model.I was responsible for the Business Analysis for a number of the SOA services developed within the Service Factory as well as reviewing the work of the contractor Information Architect.

Information Architect in the Enterprise Information Architecture Team at British Airways. I was responsible for supporting projects who were creating services as part of the SOA implementation, in this role I focused on the importance of data within the service and consultancy on the design of architectural services. I was responsible for the development of the common data model that was implemented as part of SOA services using Progress DataXtend Semantic Integrator (DXSI).I was one of a handful of people with expertise in the Enterprise Data Model (EDM) and provided consultancy for projects that were required to use it.As an Information Architect I was also responsible for Data Quality, Data Governance, Data Integration and was looking into MDM. I was the team leader for the Waterside EIAT and in this capacity I supported my colleagues. I was responsible for the team’s performance reviews and the mentoring new colleagues.
