I am responsible for the line management of all staff and continuous development of the business Llancaiach Fawr Manor and the Winding House Museum in New Tredegar. Llancaiach Fawr Manor comprises of several departments which include a Functions and Catering Department, café, restaurant and a busy conference and wedding business. The Manor House, which although was built in 1550 the interior has been set in 1645 is now a tourist attraction where interpretation staff deliver immersive historic tours through first person interpretation. The gift shop specialises in predominantly locally made items and aims to promote the creativity of our Welsh producers.I also directly manage the marketing and promotion of all aspects of the business of Llancaiach Fawr as a Premier Heritage Attraction and Function Venue in Caerphilly County Borough.I set the targets to maximise the income as well as budgets for each department (within the allocation of funds from CCBC) and produce the necessary management reports to monitor Performance Indicators and Best Value and to produce monthly income and expenditure reports to Heads of Department within Llancaiach Fawr.The Museum whilst a smaller operation, consists of the museum, Winding Room which houses a winding wheel, maintained and run regularly by a team of committed volunteers, an art gallery, meeting rooms, offices, cafe and gift shop. I oversee the day to day running of the business, set income targets and monitor the financial matters for the site.The overarching philosophy of both sites is to promote a sense of place, celebrate Wales, whilst protecting our heritage and environment.

Provided administrative support for the Agile Nation Project which was created to educate and support women, employees and employers with a focus on career advancement and work towards a reduction in the gender pay gap.

Originally employed to set up and run and develop a Front of House department within the Welsh branch of a catering recruitment company specialising in the provision of temporary and permanent staff to the hospitality industry.Promoted to Branch manager, additional duties included the line management of the office staff as well as the 130 flexi workers.
