Lead role in planning, advising and commissioning high quality, flexible and sustainable delivery of Cultural Services. I was responsible for the design and development of arts and sports strategy and policy: monitoring and evaluation of the sector: evidencing the impacts of arts and sports on the Single Outcome Agreement, the Education, Culture and Sport Service plan, and on 'Vibrant Aberdeen' and 'Fit for the Future', the arts and sports strategies for the City. I was also responsible for the finance attached to the sports and cultural grants, the funding relationships with national arts and sports organisations, and ensuring the sport and cultural forums for the City were effectively managed.

As Community Arts Manager I led the strategic development of participatory cultural activities in the City, managed the Arts Development team and work programmes in our city centre base, WhiteSpace, and throughout Aberdeen, particularly in the regeneration areas. I was responsible for ensuring external project funds were raised and led the team in managing working partnerships with over 90 organisations per year.
