I am a passionate advocate for the power of collaboration and entrepreneurship to drive positive change across Wales and the most deprived parts of the UK. As a social entrepreneur and the CEO of Welsh Innovation Centre for Enterprise (ICE), I take immense pride in the impact we've made, supporting thousands of business owners and significantly boosting the local economy.🏆 Achievements- 77% of our businesses have thrived beyond the critical three-year mark, compared to the UK average of 61 per cent. Showcasing our collective dedication and resilience. - More than 2,000 businesses and aspiring entrepreneurs have been supported.- Welsh ICE has a current net Gross Value Added (GVA) benefit to the Welsh economy of £53 million. Thanks to funding from investors including the Welsh Government, approximately every £1 invested in ICE businesses has resulted in a £22 benefit to the Welsh Economy.- Growing up in the South Wales Valleys, and experiencing inequality and a lack of relatable role models, I have always felt a deep responsibility to support those facing similar challenges. This personal connection fuels my commitment to making a difference.🎓 Educational Background- I hold a postgraduate diploma in entrepreneurial practices with a focus on gender perspectives.
