As the Careers in Accounting administrator at PICPA, I work primarily with high school and college students and faculty to promote careers in the field. High school programs focus on awareness of the opportunities available in the accounting world, while college level programs work to provide students with the resources and knowledge they need to become a CPA.Aside from working with the Schools & Colleges committees across the state, I also serve as a Member Relations team member, focusing on membership retention and recruitment. PICPA is the largest and most prestigious association for CPAs in Pennsylvania and we provide countless career development opportunities, technical and educational resources, and much more to accounting professionals through membership.

At LRP Publications, I was involved in many different aspects of marketing for various federal publications and HR conferences. Responsibilities included copy writing, editing, data analysis, social media, and more. I oversaw the creation and execution of email correspondence and kept analyses up-to-date.

At this newly opened spa, I helped to develop various marketing plans. I was responsible for customer correspondence, as well as building relationships with the community and clientele. I assisted in planning and promoting an in-house charity event in the summer of 2008. The art show displayed works of local artists all throughout our spa, and drew in nearly 100 people to view and purchase the art. The night raised over $400 for the Lupus Foundation of America through raffles and donations.

As a Penn State football intern, I oversaw and advised the "Great Show Squad" student promotions group, and held pre-game, on-field, and post-game duties throughout the season. Penn State baseball marketing was a completely hands-on, student-run program. Along with a small group I developed and implemented an effective marketing strategy, focusing on increasing student attendance, interaction, and involvement at games.
