WE LEARN project aims to create system changes regarding the employment barriers experienced by Black Indigenous, People of Colour (BIPOC) women in conflictive relationships with the Criminal Justice System (CJS). Duties: Employ, coach, and supervise staff with lived experience using a strength-based and collaborative approach in a trauma-informed way. Establish a partnership network of employers, equity-seeking NGOs, key stakeholders, employment-focused agencies, and academic institutions. Employ a collaborative process in identifying structural gaps in employment and design and recommend mitigating actions. Allan Bonner Communications Management Inc.: Manager (2015-2016). The organization provides expert crisis management, risk communication, and media relations service. Duties: Coordinate meetings and engagement for the president. Complete immigration processes for, train, and manage domestic and international interns. Spearheaded mass communication campaigns to increase service awareness and engagements.ESU Massage Therapy: Manager (2011-2015). This is a comprehensive massage therapy company in the Greater Toronto Area. Duties: Manage and schedule for a staff population of twelve across two locations. Designed and implemented a three years strategic plan that improved staff wellness, staff, and client retention by over fifty percent. Supported sex workers and survivors of human trafficking with their exit from the sex industry using the CTI model.
