Responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation and support of assigned clinical and/or business applications. This includes documentation, analysis, testing, user training and support for multiple assigned software applications as well as assisting with redesigning clinical and/or business processes using information technologies.

Provide assistance to the Director of Pharmacy by providing leadership to the pharmacy team and responsible for the pharmacy automated and computerized systems throughout retail pharmacy operations. Ensure the quality of automated and computerized applications used in the retail pharmacy department in addition to orientating and training personnel on pharmacy related applications. Support departmental quality assurance, policies, procedures and other necessary projects. Work as a liaison between IS and Pharmacy Services to support retail pharmacy operations. Maintain and act as system administrator for the pharmacy applications in use across Agnesian HealthCare’s retail pharmacies including pharmacy dispensing systems, online applications, IVR systems, and point-of-sale systems. Ensure application service packs, updates, and upgrades are tested and applied as required.

Implemented any new programs or technology to all AHE Pharmacies. Worked with and trained clerks at each location to accomplish tasks, educate on products and programs, and work 'hands on' with clerks to accomplish projects. Coordinated purchasing of OTC inventory, increasing usage of our 'Agnesian brand' products, OTC employee stock, vials, bags, labels, office supplies and coordinate transfer of inventory between stores. Coordinated return of all outdated products, OTC and prescription drugs. Analyzed and purchase lines of herbs, vitamins & homeopathic remedies to address the needs of our customers. Coordinate the resources of Agnesian HealthCare to work with all retail pharmacies to include using PR to determine cost efficient methods of advertising. Followed up with customers and report on prescription transfers to other pharmacies. Managed appropriate selection of products for each location. Implemented scanning of all OTC and prescription items and set up bar-coded shelving, updating on a daily basis. RMS/POS System Administrator. Purchased and sold products at best pricing. Used planograms in appropriate stores and responsible for updates.

Worked closely with the Finance department to keep inventory records maintained and monitor daily transactions and sales.
